The Yo-Yos was a band formed in 1998 by Danny McCormack (bass and vocals) after the break up of The Wildhearts. They released one album 'Upppers and Downers' in summer 2000 on the sub pop record label.

The band broke up in 2001, but briefly reformed in 2005. As of December 11th, Danny seems to be completing their current gig commitments without the rest of the band, with the help of a good deal of alcohol.
